Berlin Public Safety to Host USERRA/Chapter 33 Seminar

BERLIN — The Berlin Police and Fire Departments will be hosting a Uniform Services Employment & Re-Employment Rights Act (USERRA)/Chapter 33 Seminar this week.

The seminar will feature presentations and panel discussion on the state and federal laws with regard to military service members and the municipalities legal rights and obligations. This event is open to police chiefs, fire chiefs, municipal managers and human resource directors. Reservations are required, as there is limited seating and coffee and lunch with be provided.

Please send attendees names to firechief@townofberlin.com or chiefgalvin.pd@townofberlin.com no later than Wednesday, March 8.
